Lauren Daugherty, CEO

Lauren Daugherty has 20 years of experience in politics, policy, strategic communications, and similar, including 10 years of CEO experience. Lauren earned an MA in government from Johns Hopkins, an MA in national security from the Institute of World Politics, and a BA in economics from Emory.

Much of her career has been focused on issues related to individual liberty. Last year, she turned her focus to AI risk and AI safety because it is the most impactful policy cause of our lifetime.

Heather Fazio, VP of Advocacy

Heather Fazio has nearly 20 years of experience as a principled policy advocate, dedicated to advancing liberty-focused reform in Texas.

Her advocacy career has included building strategic alliances, organizing training events, leading legislative briefings, rallying lobby days, and creating educational exhibits, all focused on equipping citizen advocates with the tools they need to hold the government accountable and engage effectively in the policymaking process.

Heather is a trusted voice in Texas policy and has been widely quoted in news outlets throughout the state.
